I have no business posting here since it’s going back. But the luscious, juicy, deep pourpre Day I purchased on FP (1st photo) arrived looking anemic, dry, dull, and faded. On top of it, UPS delivered 3 days late, eating into the measly 14 day return policy. I’ve been stung too many times by FP’s dishonest photo color manipulation and their new return policy is making me cranky.

On a brighter note, eBay’s newfangled bag authentication/inspection saved me yesterday. They called me directly on my cell to tell me the 03 Lilac City I panic bought (terrible photos, though clearly authentic) had been painted. Following my “yuck,” they immediately cancelled the transaction and sent the bag back to seller. Silver linings.

How disappointing! So sorry that FP was a flop again. :(

I can’t wait to get this bag in my hands - is it me or is it TOO SMOOSHY???

I can't wait for you to get your hands on it a well! Hope it's SUPER SMOOSHY!

A most exciting TRR find… 04 Pewter First

Love, love, love!

As a seller there for over two decades, eBay’s innovations are so often ill-conceived and poorly functioning that it’s really nice to see one working properly.

I agree. I was quite surprised by it. I think the most impressive part was the personal phone call. And the guy who called was so professional yet warm and personable. He spent quite some time to make sure I would be satisfied with the purchase and to explain their process and what triggers a warning call to the buyer, and I wasted a bit more of his time reinforcing their decision to flag a painted bag, even if authentic.
