At the time, I was told by SA that this was the only SO black. I wasn’t shown any tweed unfortunately as I was only interested in leather. They did have a beautiful light purple one in stock when I was there.

Hi all! I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this. I’m a newer Chanel shopper and have purchased 6 bags, 1 dress and two scarves and a few pieces of jewelry over the last year.

We stopped at the Chanel boutique in Dubai during my honeymoon and I purchased the most beautiful scarf/shawl. I’m back in the USA and somehow lost my shawl at a play i attended a week ago. I’ve retraced my steps and called every place I remember having it and nobody has seen it.

I have contacted the Chanel customer service asking if they could find it for me in a boutique here and it’s sold out everywhere but they do have a few in Prague, Barcelona, Nice and Zurich. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can get one of these boutiques to send me the item? I understand they don’t do this but I’m desperate to replace it.

This is the scarf. If anybody has any suggestions PLEASE let me know. Thank you so much!

Would it be possible to call these boutiques and ask about possible solutions, for instance, if they can’t ship it, can you pay over the phone and hold the item until someone picks it up?

Unfortunately I’ve asked they told me no. They said they have no way to ship international orders 😭

They actually told me point blank- unless I can come to the store physically there are no options.

I’ve been disappointed with their service, but I also understand why they don’t allow people to call in and place an order over the phone and have it shipped.

Have you considered asking a personal shopper based in Europe? They will charge you a premium on the price of the item but I can’t think of another way to get it because the Europeans boutiques will not ship unless you have an very established relationship with one of them.
I would say that a shopper based in Paris can easily ask their fashion advisor to transfer the item from nice then send it to you. You will have to pay upfront plus a fee and pay for shipping to your location.

I really hate paying higher than the already high boutique prices but sometimes I do use them if I really cannot locate something in my home boutiques. I have used Paris personal shop before (many times but the last time was several years ago). She is very nice and is honest and reliable. I also have used Jaidi finds in the US - she can locate things in Europe and even further afield (she once got something from Japan for me).
