Yay, this makes me sssssoooooo happy! She is such a gorgeous bag, I love that she’s now with all your other gorgeous gals (or Bals). Couldn’t be in better condition too, or minty AF :smile:

This arrived last week — on my birthday! :love:
I thought it was dirty and just needed a good cleaning, but it’s more faded than dirty
I’ve cleaned it up & buffed it and don’t think it looks too bad (altho it is pretty dry)
When compared to the back & bottom of the bag, you can see the difference
Didn’t come with a mirror, but luck was on my side & one of those sellers from Japan had one listed (even though it didn’t contain a watermelon :frown:)

Also happening on my birthday — this cute little coin purse appeared at TRR First Look
I couldn’t tell what color it was from the pic — at first I thought it was also Cornflower, but then I noticed the zipper tape & the top stitching, so I hoped it was 05 Navy. It arrived today and after feeling the leather ( :drool:) and comparing it to the Cornflower mirror, I’m almost positive it is

Seeing these two colors side by side, feeling their leathers — I’m even more determined to find me an 05 Navy bag now

Ask anyone who knows me from years ago, I’ve always been drawn to blue and grey bags. There were a few times when my collection consisted only of bags in various shades of blue and grey! It should come as no surprise that I found it hard to resist this gem from TRR — especially considering I was sitting on the credit they gave me for the missing strap/zipper pull on the True Red First!:girlsigh:

Nice haul! Blue and gray are perfect neutrals in my book and go with so many colors.
Never had a gray Bal...but always looking for a sweet oldie one.
But shame on that seller for the missing watermelon! Not cool! Haha.
Happy belated birthday! Enjoy your goodies.

when you search Bottega Veneta Cabat you better enter into ebay search Hippo or Hippopotamus bag because sellers from japan often have gems, but thy call it either Hippo or Hippopotamus bag. Never ever I have seen Cabat. Cabas occasionally. What is the watermelon, now I am curious !!!
