Juicy Couture...too young & summery?

Gretchen & Laureen...that's my biggest fear...like I'm TRYING to look young. I already look young for my age, so I need a look that is not teeny-boppery. It's just so HARD because although I've grown older, my taste seems to remain the same! Thanks for your honest opinions!

Lee...how is the quality of Betsy bags?

I like the style and the color. I feel it would look more age appropriate if you remove the charms. If it fits your look, go for it. It would be a refreshing pop of color on a dull gray day. I had the same dilemma as you. I put off buying the Botkier mini pink rose sasha for the longest because I was concerned the color was too girly. Well it is my FAVORITE bag and I take her everywhere. However, I love every aspect of my bag. If you are not happy with the chains, then maybe you should look for a pink bag that is 100% what you want.

Nice Botkier! Thanks for your opinion & advice. It seems like the majority is a NO:nogood:. I'll have to sleep on it!

I don't think it's too "young" for you. If you got a good deal on it and like just keep it. I'm not a big fan of Juicy myself, I don't think their quality is worth the prices they charge, but if you got a good deal it might be okay.

I can't even think of Juicy without picturing a giggly fourteen year old :(

I like the color on the bag, but it is summery and most Juicy items seem geared towards teenagers.

I have the exact same bag in brown. I love it and am not welling to give it up even i haven't worn it for almost 6 months. I think it is soft and well made. I used to use it everyday and none of the stitches have came off and mine still looks new and i didn't baby this bag at all. I almost got the pink one but decided it was just too hard to match every outfit.

I think Juicy is more for tweens and early 20's at the most. I think its not age appropriate for you even though it is a very cute bag. I'm sure you should be able to find a gorgeous bag out there, there are so many lovelies to choose from.

Nooch, Prada, & Gina...thanks for your opinions! I just needed to double check with the forum before I returned the bag, and regretted it!

Dreaming...I DO love her and the quality is quite good from what I understand, but for $149, I think I could put that money towards another...

Mindy...thanks for your support. I have to agree though...pink is hard to match outfits without looking too cutesy. Also, only using her for 1 season a year?:nogood:

I own a LOT of pink stuff and the way I do it is that I make my pink bag the only "cute" thing I am wearing (with the exception of my pink Chuck Taylors or my pink patent Doc Martens), otherwise I look like I am trapped in a cotton candy machine and it just isn't a good look!

I think it really depends on you. I guess I'm not quite one to talk since I'm 20 and in the age range that most people are talking about, but I have a similar bag (Maggie is the style name, I think) in the same color, but I tend to find it rather durable and I've never though that it felt young. I do also tend to wear it with the charm in the bag so its really just a pink leather bag with silver hardware, and I find that it's quite well-made. I use it as a carry-on and a school bag, and carry my laptop in it and after almost two years of my abuse it still looks new and hasn't even started to fall apart. A lot of people would say the same things about age and wearing any kind of Coach monogram bags, yet there are lots and lots of older women who love them, so I think it really has to do with what you'll be okay with wearing.
