Hi gals...

I need some advice. Found this bag @ TJ's yesterday and I've been wanting her for a while because she's my favorite colour & she's got such soft & supple leather! The only thing that I'm not too fond of is the chain handles (makes it heavy & sorta makes it cheap looking:shrugs:, I think).

Also, I'm in my 30's, and I don't know if this bag looks too young. Oh yeah, and is it too summery for the upcoming seasons?!

Honest opinions please! TIA!!

the only thing i fancy from JC ar some of their cute charms..apart frm that, the stuffs doesn't work for me (sorry, JC fans!)..
yeap, i think the pink AND the gold chains are an overkill...

I like some Juicy bags. I mainly buy them as my summer bags, and I've never bought the leather. From what I've heard the quality is not the greatest and they tend to fall apart. And the leather bags are somewhat expensive, when I buy leather I want something that's going to last. I think if you like the bag you should keep it, especially if you got it for a great price. If you're going to be uncomfortable carrying it and have to store it for half the year before you want to use it I say take it back. Their stuff does seem to be geared more towards a very young crowd. Maybe save your money and find another bag by a different designer in a similar color? :graucho:

Thanks Tup...you always know what to say. You've GOTTA feel the leather on this bag! It's softer than some of my COACH bags! It's actually softer than the pink ergo hobo that I was craving for. Those darn chain handles & charms dangling everywhere...:s

my humble opinion would say yes too young and yes too summery. i wouldn't wear JC for the last few years at least and i'm 28. and the chains= too much.
it sounds like you already knew all this though. :smile1:

I like the style and the color. I feel it would look more age appropriate if you remove the charms. If it fits your look, go for it. It would be a refreshing pop of color on a dull gray day. I had the same dilemma as you. I put off buying the Botkier mini pink rose sasha for the longest because I was concerned the color was too girly. Well it is my FAVORITE bag and I take her everywhere. However, I love every aspect of my bag. If you are not happy with the chains, then maybe you should look for a pink bag that is 100% what you want.
