Picked up my Pochette Metis Mono from LV at the Rodeo Drive in CA today. I wasn't very happy with the glazing but the SA that got my order wasn't very friendly and brushed off my concerns. So I left and went straight to the boutique in Glendale Bloomingdale's. Exchanged it there for a way better Pochette Metis, and the SA there even found me a Neverfull PM MIF! Snagged it up too :)

I love your sunnies so much!
They look great on you! They look fairly clear in this pic, do you find they block out enough sunlight?
Thank you!

They are definitely not for extremely sunny, cloudless days especially if you plan on being outside for a long time.
I have other much darker sunglasses though for that purpose, like my trusty polarized Oakleys which I wear to work out outside. I probably wouldn’t wear these to spend am entire day on the beach but for hanging around the city I think these will be OK. I also tend to still need sunglasses in lower light situations (like after sun has set in the summer up here but there’s still light until 10 pm) so these will be perfect for dusk.

They are classified as lens filter category 2 which is “general purpose” sunglasses so they do block UV and help with glare but the transmittance is about 18%-43% (for the category, unsure about these specifically but I’d say these are likely closer to the 43% than 18%). There was a pair of the same style but in a darker lens that is also category 2 but likely closer to the 18%. I wanted these because they’re different than the usual darker sunglasses I wear! LV has more info on the lens filter category here: https://www.louisvuitton.com/LensCategories/TechnicalFocus

I tried these out for a short drive on a pretty sunny day and they did well, definitely let more light in than my other sunglasses but still helped with the glare and I wasn’t squinting or anything!
