I have become such a fan of the men’s line bags, don’t care how they label, a fabulous bag is a fabulous bag! This is my new bright blue aerogram MIF sling bag in clemence. And with silver hw which is my favorite. They did an orange, black, and teal in aerogram, but until this perfect blue I wasn’t ready.

It’s got such a nice long strap, a zip pocket in the front that functions more like a back pocket for my phone, and the main compartment is magnet closure (with a very strong magnet). It is SO convenient, and it’s a “dressier” dog walking bag than canvas, though I will carry it for other things. The front pocket also holds my essentials, and is big enough for my iPhone 14 promax too. The photo of the back looks like it has creases, it doesn’t, and near the bottom is a stamped LV. Even though the bag is totally flat it still hugs my body. so perfect hands free.

Here are some photos for some to see that might want a bumbag-like bag but can’t do the women’s bags. I’m 5’8”, and these slings adjust to hit perfectly at my hip with room to spare. I wear it on an angle as a crossbody at my hip, and it’s so easy to get in and out of. I love it! I already posted the matching aerogram Po in the June thread, I bought it first to see if it was indeed the perfect shade of blue, and it was. The first pic on the blanket is the most accurate color depiction. Happy July all - can’t wait to see everyone’s goodies!!

Excited to share my happy accident I went to the store to pick up a Coussin Pochette I've ordered but it was in a terrible state, I almost left empty handed but last minute decided to ask about the new leather addition of the Pochette Metis East West and the rest is history

This blue is truly a perfect blue — like you, I love and prefer silver hardware, the leather looks fabulous, the strap looks so good with its understated monochromatic look. What a stylish bag to use for errands or dog walking . Great timing for its arrival so you can use it this long weekend. Congrats and enjoy T .

I do find a significant difference between men’s and women’s collection for the bag, somehow the hardware they use on men’s bags are always thicker/heavier. While women’s bags hardwares are relative lighter and less chunky. One is not that much but when all the hardware weight add together the weight becomes more significantly heavier for men’s items.

As a petite person, I would prefer lighter weight bags so I can stuff more things in without feeling the weight pressure.

True enough - many times the hardware is chunkier. It also depends on the bag - the keepall XS bags didn’t have chunky hardware it is very light to carry. If weight in a handbag bothers us or our shoulders, the less hw the better! This sling bag is actually pretty light weight as it hangs slightly differently than a true crossbody. I like chunkier hardware for a change up sometimes.

I can imagine as a petite person that the men’s line might not appeal as some are bigger too. But for us tall or curvy women, they are fabulous! I can never buy an LV women’s bag without adding a strap extender to wear the bag crossbody. They seem to have this fictional woman in mind that is exactly so tall and weighs exactly so much and that’s who they make straps for, when in reality they are too long for some, too short for others and rarely just right Either way, there are so many bags we can each find what we love, and I adore this new bag!

Yes!! I belong to the shorter end of the spectrum and for more well-endorsed ladies or taller ones will have problem using the Alma BB strap for example as it’s non adjustable, very thin and cuts into my shoulder.

I really appreciate the adjustable straps that the newer LV bags come with now so I can set it to the exact length I want to have it sit where I want exactly. The heavier hardware would be a reminder to tell myself to stop carrying extra junk too!

Thank you! you're the third one saying the black is their fave! But I can totally understand, it's so elegant and the way the light hits the embossing is just devine usually I'm not attracted to black bags, often find them a bit boring, but when I saw this PM EW I knew it had to be in black!

My first ever LV trainers. I spotted these in May and did think about getting them on a trip to Orlando but with the FX rate and taxes it was better value to purchase in the UK. They then went out of stock and I thought I had missed out but they came back in so a quick click and collect so I could pick them up when I travelled to London this weekend.
Love the smooth leather and fully leather lined too. Also love the understated detailing, as the SA said understated luxury
