This is going to be my Chinese New Year bag this year
Thank you for showing a sneak preview!! I ordered this online yesterday, I’m too lazy to travel an hour plus to go to the shop to get it. So I hope I get the full package, paper bag, ribbon, dust bag and all!! I actually have no need for another key pouch because I got one in navy Pearl Empreinte (2021) and it’s still in great condition. But I couldn’t resist all the Kusama pictures and recently my husband’s key pouch (non-luxury) broke and he was looking for one. So, I have decided to bequeath my old key pouch to him while I use the Kusama piece!! Then I wouldn’t feel wasteful for buying something and not using it.
Congratulations once again for the cute purchase. I will SLG-twin with you shorter when they send me my order this Wednesday!!
I’m also eyeing on the black and white Kusama Victorine wallet!! I’m currently using the Clea and I feel the bill compartment is a little tight fit for bigger notes. I “think” the Victorine wallet will solve my issue. But I may have another issue which is the the card slots. I’m hoping the Empreinte leather might be better than canvas because it is more forgiving to expand compared to canvas. My Clea is actually relatively “new” (less than a year for now).I said I was done after my December ebay haul, but now I'm agonizing over the black Kusama victorine. It's my birthday month and I have the funds, but holy crap $1000 for a wallet. But it's LE and will only go up in value. Black & white is my favorite color combo and will also go with my multicolore bag. And it has a pumpkin stamp inside which will make me happy every time I look at it. I need a smaller wallet, and if I"m gonna buy it I better do it NOW before it sells out. But... do I dare spend so much on myself? Aaaaargh send help

Google’s really tracking me tonight cause I just got recommended a video about Kusama’s life. I’d never even heard of her before last week, I thought the dots and infinity rooms were just quirky modern art. But after learning the meaning behind them, omg I have so much respect and admiration for this beautiful lady now. What she went through and how her art helps her deal with mental illness… wow. Not to turn this into the Kusama thread or anything but I’m so happy I’m going to have one of her pieces. I bought it b/c pumpkin but it’s more meaningful now.
Okay I have been pretty solidly "meh" about this collection so far, not too big on the dots but I just noticed her logo is a pumpkin and some of the bags have PUMPKIN CHARMSAs a Halloween queen I may have to buy something just on principle.
Side note, LV really needs to do an autumn/Halloween collection.
If you could wait out for a bit and have the funds... wave 2 will have whole bunch of mono bags with actual huge pumpkins on them!
