Joyful January 2023 Purchases!

I didn’t plan on making any purchases in Paris- but we all know how that goes. I was hoping to look at the boots from the Kusami collection but they weren’t out yet. I decided I still needed something from the collection and walked out with this!! Had to take a picture of her near the amazing Champs Elysees store

My new years resolution is to really use these new things (and older things too ofc) I got and not just store them - i spent a heck of a lot of money, better get some joy out of them.

The forum wasn’t working well for me for the past few days. Loading pictures take ages! I wanted to spam my Kusama key pouch and packaging here…

I’m just very glad I had the full packaging!


Even the ribbon had LV printed with the dots.


The zip pull is a splat of white dot.


Pumpkin signature! The font used seem thinner than the usual “Louis Vuitton Made in France” font



The inside of the paper bag is also printed with dots.


As well as the underside. Notice the overlapping parts have some “continuity”.


The dots print May look random but actually it is not. Both sides of the key pouch is exactly the same placement for the dots.

Congrats on your pretty sandals — I bet they are comfy right? I love love love the red envelopes this year (I don’t believe I have seen a special design like this in at least the last 5 years). I wished I could get some this year .

Off topic, I saw that Ululani’s shaved ice will be opening a location in Kapahulu!!! I may not need to go to Maui again .

Yes, the sandals are comfy. I haven't heard about Ululani's, but will look into it. In town, I always go to Waiola in McCully. Matsumoto's is my favorite, but they're all the way on the North Shore.

I really didn't like those twister dots at first, but it's growing on me. That's a fantastic shot of the alma bb and the store.

Just got this Kusama zippy wallet today. I am so glad I got all the packaging along with it, even though I ordered it online. I absolutely love it!! The dots are so cool, too. Here’s my unboxing.

I was torn at first too- but I do dress pretty neutral so even hubby agreed this was a fun addition!! The collection really is fun.
