I can't believe I was able to get this bag. I wished for it but never believed it would happen. It's the Capucines BB from Nicolas Ghesquière’s LV Symphony. I randomly walked into my boutique on Saturday and there it was on the shelf. Music has meaning to me because my mom was a professional pianist and died from covid in 2020 before vaccines were available. According to my SA there was only one other in a New York store unless it sold this weekend. I am completely amazed that it's mine. The second pic is the bag on the piano that I inherited from her. Both my parents are gone, maybe this was a sign or gift from them?

I was really touched reading your story! Condolences for the loss of your mother. I'm super happy you could find this beautiful and extra meaningful Capucines! Enjoy and very best wishes

I just got back from Paris and I went a bit overboard with the shopping! Since this was a family trip, I didn’t spend too much time shopping at all the boutiques, but I was able to get the items off my wishlist. I knew I wanted to get the monogram pochette Métis and speedy b 25 DE. I have purchased and sold these two bags so many times in the past and then regretted it. I wanted to add them back, but really couldn’t stomach the current prices so it was nice to get them back at a significant savings in Europe. I will not part with them again. Lol

I also picked up the Coussin PM in noir. I tried this bag on at my local boutique and was obsessed! I know it’s a polarizing bag, but it really suits my casual lifestyle. To me it’s really chic and not really seen carried where I live

As for the Chanel bag, that was such an impulse purchase but again I fell in love when I tried it on. I think I got caught up in the moment..lol.

I did get a couple LV SLG’s and a pair of glasses.

Now I’m off to ban island indefinitely! Thanks for letting me share

Awesome haul! How are you enjoying the coussin PM? I was eyeing that one. Felt like all the other sizes were too big.

Great haul ! I hope you enjoyed your stay in Paris
Thank you! It was such a fun time. It was my sons first visit, so that was what made it so special.

I will say, although the abundance of luxury shopping and significant savings when shopping there, it was less than a luxury experience. lol. Long lines, sales associates that are “checked out,” entitled customers, etc. I am not sure if would consider shopping in Paris a “magical” experience. Lol. For me, my magical experience was able to get the big savings and getting everything on my wishlist

Best customer service exp I had in Paris was Chanel, Celine and Hermes (I wasn’t going for a bag).

Lol make some room on ban island for me and my bags

Thank you…as I mentioned above the highlight of the trip was experiencing Paris with my son, it was his first time there.

Thank you!!

I love love love the Coussin. I started carrying today. Wore it casually just with the thick strap. I was wearing leggings and a sweatshirt and it really elevates a simple outfit. I may wear the chain in the event I wear something a little more than sweats.

I will say the leather is hearty, I did get caught in some rain today and the drops wiped right off.

Even though it is hearty, it’s still lambskin so I do need to be a little careful. I’m already showing some wrinkles and I think I caused it when I packed the bag.

Either way it’s such a great bag! I may look to getting another one once I’m off ban island. Lol

Paris has become a luxury tourist factory. But the service is not always top notch. And Paris is no longer the Paris of my childhood… Louis Vuitton is a too popular brand here. Hermès and Chanel are more selective. I hope you didn't have any insecurity issues. I hope your son enjoyed its stay. Anyway it is a beautiful town isn’t it?

I would have to agree it’s very touristy, and yes I’m a tourist. Lol. I had not been to Paris since early 2000’s so it was time.

There were no insecurity issues on my end, I had my expectations tempered. I wasn’t looking for a magical experience more of I wanted to get the items off my wishlist and then leave.

I was actually very surprised with the service I received at Chanel, Hermes and Celine. It was pretty amazing especially being a tourist. I have heard horror stories with Chanel and Hermes but am grateful for the opposite experience. But I did see alot of tourists behaving very badly in my opinion and that was quite a turn off to see.

Anyhow, yes thank you, my sons experience was quite amazing for him. We did pick up two matching bracelets at Hermes for our “shared souvenir”

What a gorgeous bag, and a lovely connection with your mother. So sorry for your loss, but it seems it was meant to be for you. Just beautiful, and it looks perfect on your mom’s/your piano.
