I am happy to have started the pearl chain trend but not sure how I feel about starting this ban breaking trend . I am quite liberal with my “bag ban” — it only includes LV coated canvas bags and leather bags. So nylon (hello Longchamp ), shearling, denim, velvet, straw/raffia, etc bags are complete freebies .
Oh I think you should feel great - we all owe you a debt of gratitude :P :flowers:

My new-to-me, very preloved '87 Chantilly MM. I only paid about $300 for this mature beauty from Japan. This was the only one I could find under $600 that didn't need a full vachetta replacement, whoever had it before took great care of it. I only had to give it a good cleaning, glue a few tiny splits on the strap, and scrub out the crumbly inner pocket. I took her to the LV store last weekend and all the SAs were oohing and aahing  I think I might love vintage LV more than anything new. These older pieces have such great character and they trigger my sonder so hard. Every time I use them I wonder about the people who had them before me, what they carried in them, what kind of lives they led...

Wonderful! If only your bag could talk - sounds like you create a narrative. Congrats on this vintage piece!

It's a bit quiet in the reveal thread the past months I feel like! Hopefully upcoming stardust release will change that :hbeat:

I feel so happy and lucky to already share this with you. While I was on holiday in Greece we visited the island of Mykonos. One day I casually walked in the LV store thinking to bring a necklage as a souvenir but once I walked in my heart skipped like 3 beats. They already had the Stardust collection out on display and ready to be bought! A few days earlier is just missed out on the pre order of Nano Speedy and now she was just sitting there waiting for me to take her home, so you can imagine how amazed I was this happened  The SA explained they are a special pop up store and get more items in from seasonal collections and have special early launches.

So here is my best souvenir ever!
