I went and saw a client today, she and her friend were in the back office so i stopped and chatted with them for a bit. my client was wearing a 15 carat diamond tennis bracelet, and her friend had on a YG love bracelet, an approx 5 carat tennis bracelet, and a pink sapphire tennis bracelet!!! I tried so hard to get pictures (the whole time we talked i had my phone in my hand) but I couldnt get a clear one....don't hate me
I would love to see a pink sapphire bracelet! aaaw better luck next time!
I'm still on the Cartier watch hunt. I saw two Tanks "in the wild", and a large Ballon like mine in an old "O" magazine.
I just saw the most ridonkulous wedding set I think I've ever seen. It looked real to me, and if I couldve snuck a photo I would've. Range Rover, LV, gucci sunnies and all, sitting at a little snocone shack with what I assume were her kids. That thing was BLANGIN. EASILY 4ct round, HONKIN round eternity band.
I am at a yelp elite event and the girl checking us in has a yg love bangle and the pave diamond trinity w/the black ceramic in narrow size. They both looked stunning on her!
I have seriously been pounded with "why are you not elite" questions on our local yelp. I can't be. I own a business. I have a listing that thankfully no one has reviewed me on--once you get one, that company totally harasses you and will suddenly hide all your positives if you refuse to advertise.
The other day, I was visiting a friend's store and this older woman came in wearing the most gigantic diamond studs and ring. Each earring must have been 3 carats or more and the ring was an emerald cut that basically took up her finger from knuckle down.
That wasn't the kicker, however. She was wearing the biggest honking tennis bracelet I have ever seen in my life. Every diamond in the bracelet was engagement ring worthy - at least one carat each. I shudder to think of the ctw of the thing.
The women in the store immediately started buzzing when she left about her ring and earrings but, everyone was so mesmerized by them, no one but me noticed the bracelet (which was not on her ring hand!)!

Haha yeah, I just HAD to post this. I went on my phone right when I saw the young lady's beautiful RHR and love bangle. I even didn't eat so I could update ya'll on my sighting!
Our local NPR station, KCRW had a piece on this and the supposed extortion techniques Yelp uses on small businesses. Thankfully I'm a consumer, not a business, otherwise it would be my worst enemy as well.
Yea I learned about it from a bunch of other people, and I actually might pull my listing to avoid the risk of someone reviewing me and then my phone and email blowing up. I must get 10 emails a week from them alone about advertising though. The Knot kind of does that too, but to my knowledge not on as grand a scale. But a vendor friend of mine refused to advertise and now her business name is marked as an expletive on the forums. *eyeroll*
