jewelry purchase influenced by TPF?

I saw someone posted this 3-stone ring with pear sides and fell in love immediately. I had the same ring custom made, and I love it to death. Another piece of jewlery I bought from seeing a photo from tpf is my gorgeous strand of Tahitian pearl necklace (gigantic size pearls wih interesting colors).

I am a jewelry addict - it wars with my bag addiction for which consumes the most of my time and money. But I've always had that problem. tPF actually manages to help me tame my spending - it's wonderful knowing that the bags out there are fabulous and have good homes already!
But I tend to haunt the Hermes non-Hermes purchases. And LaVan showed her stunning butterfly ring... so I came over here... And I saw the entire VCA support group... and their pieces...

I haven't taken the plunge yet - but I was finding myself at the jewelry counter, debating the relative merits of a VCA piece or the Kieselstien-Cord necklace I've been lusting after... still haven't decided yet...

My new David Yurman albion ring in onyx after seeing other people's rings in different gemstones, and my pearl purchases after learning about them from Japster!!!

I have the onyx and hematite on hold at Saks until 6 today. My husband is going to be pretty mad if I buy it....still trying to talk him into it. If I buy it, it will be because of TPF:nuts:
