They’re so beautiful aren’t they? I have the simple rose gold pendant. The budget didn’t stretch to the hen but I tried it on, it’s so intricate and beautiful!

It’s true, you don’t see many people wearing them, that’s partly what appealed to me.

Oh wow these are beautiful. I like the hidden surprise one with a gold heart.. oh wait.. the one with clover is also nice.. and oh.. the rose gold one is nice too, as is the diamond one... They are all so nice!!!

I have always been big on jewelry milestones when I was single. Every work bonus I get, I would splurge on a diamond piece.

Then, I got married and luckily hubby is very into marking milestones!;-)

Engagement present from inlaws: Princess Diana’s sapphire ring look-alike. This ring is super sentimental as it was a push present from FIL to MIL for the birth of their first born.

My Push present: three stone diamond ruby ring for a baby girl[emoji173]️
40th birthday present: Cartier tank franchise in two tone.

Relocation milestone: three stone diamond emerald ring

Am very contented with my Jewelry collection but I wouldn’t say no to a Cartier panthere in yellow gold for my next milestone birthday [emoji320]![emoji108]

my big milestones that I bought jewellery or had it gifted to me:
-milestone birthdays
- graduation
- milestone anniversaries
- reaching a financial goal (got a cool ring when we paid off our house).
I usually try and save and buy something I really want when I get to a milestone. otherwise I end up with so much stuff haha! ;)

Push presents are the best![emoji23]
Hahah I was not expecting the relocation milestone jewelry too but we have done several international moves and this was a big step up for the hubby so he wanted to remember the occasion...i can’t dampen that reasoning..[emoji6]

I’m slowly (or maybe not) building up a collection as I’ve always been into bags and shoes (and still is), so for me I will buy whenever the moment feels right! I do have a general wishlist of items that I want...
The problem is I am usually not excited by the entry pieces and even if it’s everyday I’d rather splurge on something special.
Eg I love pearls and splurged on a pair of 18ct gold Australian white south sea pearls, still very much in love with them, and afterwards I’m so glad that I didn’t get mikimoto earrings which would’ve have been way smaller and not as special (nothing compare to south sea pearls!) For this reason I’ve also never ever own any sterling silver pieces from Tiffany, I would’ve outgrown them easily!

I am in agreement with your strategy not to buy the entry level items if your heart is set on the fancier pieces..I also experience higher levels of contentment when I have really saved and earned my fancy pieces. Have fun building up your collection!
