Jewellery when travelling what do you take?

i will always take my ering and wedding band and a pair of earings (usually small diamond studs) and either a pendant or a bracelet. if we're going to a wedding or bar mitzvah or something i take a nice piece too and i leave it in the safe at the hotel the rest of the time. i sometimes aas well brign a plain gold band to put on if im going somewhere i wont wear diamonds or even to use hotel gym or whatever. i always take a small cosmetic case and as soon as all my stuff comes off it goes right in there. ive been scrambling before when a hotel fire alarm went off to gather all my stuff! also goes wout saying but NEVER pack jewellery. always keep it in ur purse if you arent wearing on the plane.

i wear my usual everyday jewelry plus:
if executive business function/trip for DH - i bring appropriate pieces from my safety deposit box. i have a special thin leather covered travel case for them so they are always kept together. it fits into my safety deposit box too.
if vacations - i bring costume pieces so i don't worry about them

I take my everyday signature pieces. Wedding ring, diamond studs, watch, and a diamond necklace. I don't want to take too much so I don't have to worry.

I have decided to buy a small zip purse to keep my pieces in whilst on Holiday. I am also taking a couple of gold pieces and a cocktail ring.

I have always taken my real jewelry on trips, but it now makes sense to me that I should take faux stuff and to not have anything pricey to worry at all
