Does anyone have this tote? Every time I see it at Dillard's or Macy's, I'm drawn to it, but have always chosen a Selma or Hamilton over it. I was scrolling through Macy's website over the weekend for any new medium Selmas and came across this particular tote in palm with silver hardware and I HAD to pick it up. I've been in love with palm since it came out last year, but just wasn't too into the gold hardware that it came with. I haven't seen much on the forum about this bag so just wanted to see if anyone had it and liked it.

I have the jet set zip tote and love it!!!!! I know it's not the exact bag you're talking about, but they're from the same line. The palm is a beautiful color! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I have the jet set satchel and had been using it before I got the tote, but there's just something about a tote that in my opinion can't be beat. Especially in the saffiano leather, it's so easy to maintain. Hope you enjoy your new bag!
I have the Jet Set E/W in black with gold hardware, I've had it since April and I love the bag. It has plenty of room. I've been using it almost everyday since I got it and have had no issues with the straps or the bag. The saffiano leather is easy to maintain. It's a great everyday bag.
Thank you! The straps on all of the Jet Set totes are what always turned me off. I don't know why these bags have such thin straps. My bag is supposed to arrive today so I'll take it for a test run around the house before I cut the tags to make sure I'll like the straps enough. I'll post pics when she's here!
Well, turns out Macy's sent me the wrong bag. The picture on the website showed palm with silver, but they sent palm with gold. The main reason I ordered this bag was the silver so I'm kind of mad about that. I talked to a nice lady on the phone who told me that they have both silver and gold. Why do they not specify this on the website then? Regardless, the leather had some folds and dents that I wouldn't have lived with had the correct bag been delivered anyway. The two times I've ordered from Macy's, the packing has been less than excellent. Just a bag thrown in a big box with a few piece of paper around it. I'm kind of hesitant to order from them again, but I want the silver soooooo bad that I might just have to put up with it one more time and hope for the best. I'm going to call tomorrow to order over the phone that way I can explain the situation and they can hopefully make sure I end up with a silver bag this time. I felt like a crazy woman explaining my silver vs. gold situation over the phone and in the store when I returned it, but jeez, the website has silver and I wanted silver so that's why I placed an order!

I had the same issue when I first ordered my Jet Set, it arrived in a bag and had some dents, so I went to the store and the SA called customer service and specified that I wanted another bag shipped in a box which they did do and arrived flawless.
When you speak to them see if they can put in a request for it to be shipped in a box instead of a bag. When I ordered a mini Selma through Piperlime they actually shipped it in a box.These handbags aren't cheap and it's ridiculous that this is how they ship them.

I ended up finding palm/silver at the Nordstrom and Belk websites. Called Nordstrom, the associate said it's really gold. Called Belk, they told me they have silver, but I don't think she did any looking into it other than looking at the photo. I ended up ordering from Belk, hoping I get the right bag this time around. At least at Belk, all of the colors in this bag were shown with silver hardware, whereas at Nordstom's and Macy's, it was a combination of the two. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this means I'll end up with silver! Either way, I think I'll be happy enough if I receive another gold. The hassle of doing another return isn't going to be worth it!
Either way, with silver or gold, the palm is beautiful!!! My zinnia has gold hardware, I might have preferred silver but I wear silver and gold jewelry so I don't guess it matters that much to me. I hope you're pleased with your new purse, hopefully it won't have any dents this time around!
