Close... so close: Shelly Litvak Mini Messenger Calf Skin, $1,315.00 in the cow-hide pattern. Unless there's a smaller/larger version, this seems to be our bag but not in all-black.

Hey all I am new here but I am hoping you all can help me authenticate Shelly Litvak bag I got thru my work. I work at a vintage/ eclectic clothing store and a bag came across our buying table. My boss has no real interest in handbags but purchased it because it was unusual. I think he may have paid $3 for it. When I saw I was attracted to it's unusual style. My boss put it out for $12, So I picked it up at 35% off. Took it home come and put it in My closet. Came back to it recently looking to see if I Could you figure out anything about it. The purse is not lined but it does have 1 pocket And is made out of soft, what I know now is deer skin leather whipped stitched all the round here. There is no label but I noticed that there Is a Hand signed pc of leather tied inside the Bag with the signature Shelly Litvak. I found another bag exactly like it on poshmark, The only difference being that bag was cloth lined and there was a metal plate that said Shelly Litvak On it. Wondering if this bag could have been a very early prototype for the later bag? Tried locating Shelly litvack But unable to get a response from her company, Mars & Love.
