Does anyone know why some of her jewelry is listed as gold-plated? For example, the Clover Bracelet was listed as gold-plated on Shopbop. I emailed Jennifer Meyer and received no response. When I emailed Shopbop, they said that the chain is 14K gold and the clover is 18K gold-plated. Anyone have any ideas? This lack of transparency kind of puts me off of the brand.

Yep, Jennifer Meyer uses gold vermeil, gold over silver, or gold plate in her jewelry for some pieces. I wanted something once and when I called the rep told me "FYI don't get it wet" I said I thought it was gold?? The rep told me it was gold plated when I was under the impression that it wasn't. Be careful.

Wow! Thank you so much for the response! The only website that specifies that some of her items are gold-plated is Shopbop. Other websites just list the same items as 18K gold. That is very deceptive!

That would make sense if it was specified that some items are gold-plated. I found many items that had incorrect descriptions. The prices are not low enough for gold-plated jewelry, in my opinion.

Please show me your Jennifer Meyer pieces! I am a big Jennifer Meyer fan and own several of her pieces to include:
Nameplate necklace
Mini diamond elephant necklace
Mom statement necklace
Wishbone bracelet
Mini leaf studs
Onyx and diamond triangle studs
Thin hoop earrings w/single diamond

All my pieces are in white gold, although it is difficult to find her pieces In WG and some I have had to special order. IMG_1533.jpg

I’ve been looking at some Jennifer Meyer pieces recently and just found this thread :smile: It sounds like you have a gorgeous collection!

I just ordered this necklace from Net a Porter as a birthday present to myself and am very excited as I love the simplicity of it and the beaded long chain, I can imagine it looking good with so many different outfits.

Okay Jennifer Meyer fans...which metal on this JM necklace? I love the richness of the rose gold but only own a ring in RG. All of my other jewelry is white metals. Struggling to place and order because I am undecided and the piece is $$$!
