I think I got caught up with trying on rings for the first time. Nothing against Jared but it's not my usual type of store (hope that didn't come off wrong). I want to get the best quality and I want some something that would be high quality. I'm going to a local jeweler today and hopefully they will have what I am looking for. All their jewelery is very high quality I actually forgot about them until my mom reminded me and I remembered all the great pieces we had both got from them over the years, can't believe it slipped my mind. I saw a beautiful hearts on fire band with pave and I know this particular jeweler carries this line, so hopefully they will have a similar e-ring setting as well. If not maybe I'll have them do something custom. Thanks for getting me back on the right track ladies.

^I just got back from the jeweler. I found the most amazing e-ring setting and band, I'm so glad I went. I hope to be getting both my e-ring and band in about a month/month and half and I will definitely post pictures then. I actually was able to talk to the owner she was so nice, sweet and seemed to really care and gave me amazing advice. I'm so glad my mom reminded me to go there. She recommended I get a round diamond instead of the oval because I will get more brilliance, etc. She took the time to explain every last detail to me which I really appreciated. I'm thinking of getting the diamond from them if I do decide to go with a round, since we have only picked out the oval but haven't payed for it. After everything she told me I think I'm going to get a round hearts on fire diamond to go with the 3 row pave e-ring setting and band. The pave doesn't go all the way around on either of the rings but I think that is good because I won't hit or scratch the pave when I put my hand down.

If not from hearts on fire, I will probably be going with a round instead oval. Any thoughts on oval vs round. Sorry ladies I know I'm all over the place with my decisions. I for sure am set 100% on the setting and band.

^ Me too!
I really like how unique oval look. But at the same time round diamonds are just so classy. The bow tie that is found in ovals really bothers me and I know I will not have to worry about that with a round diamond. I like the oval a lot they are so different but i don't know if I will get tired of the shape. I really like rounds and have always thought they were gorgeous throughout the years. Today I saw a lot of round diamond e-rings and i was just amazed. I think I'm leaning toward round.

I would get a round over an oval always because a round will sparkle more. Even if you don't get the HoF diamond from them, and get one from an online vendor (trust me: you can get an equal quality hearts and arrows from an online vendor for less than the brand), you will have one hell of a ring.

I initially thought that I wanted a fancy shape since I wanted something more unusual, but once I started trying on rings I realized why the round brilliant cut is so popular.
