Japanese seller Brand_jfa....anyone bought from them lately?

Brand jfa sold me counterfeit Goyard on eBay. I wasn’t careful and time lapsed so I was not able to return it or get refund. The company has mixed reviews so buyers can be fooled. Brand ja ignored my attempts to reach them through my eBay account. I thought the company was legitimate but it appears not to be the case.

Omg I’ve purchased a Chanel from them before!!
im going to go get it authenticated ASAP! I always thought you could trust sellers in Japan since the counterfeit laws there are so strict..

@BeenBurned can probably add more to this, and she's repeatedly warned of Japan-based counterfeit-selling individuals or groups at the Coach forums. These crooks are selling new and current items, especially Coach "character" accessories like Peanuts, Disney and others.

There are also some sellers of pre-owned Coaches who don't bother to authenticate their items including several LARGE Japanese sellers with long-time or high volume Ebay stores. Not only is Ebay reluctant to remove any of those reported fakes, but the sellers often relist the items almost immediately. Korean-made fake "Coaches" are especially likely to be sold on their Ebay listings (for the record, Coach has NEVER made handbags, wallets or briefcases in Korea). My only experience is with Coach but I assume the same Don't-Care attitude exists with other brand names as well.

Japanese sellers can no longer be automatically assumed to be selling genuine items, whether because of tight anti-counterfeiting laws or any cultural bias against it. Always have items from sellers claiming to be located in Japan authenticated just like any other item.

I needn't add more as Hyacinth has said it beautifully.

I don't care how trusted a seller is, how much of a history of selling designer items a seller has, what country the seller is from or how strict the country is when it comes to the sale of fakes, verifying authenticity of any pre-owned items is never an over-reaction and not indicative of mistrust of the seller.

Some sellers make honest mistakes, some sellers think they know the brand well enough to "self authenticate" and some sellers know exactly what they're peddling and they don't GAS when it comes to ripping off buyers.

I hope your bag was genuine. I agree with other comments here that no matter their reputation or if they are located in Japan, it’s a good idea to authenticate before buying.

My recent item was shipped quickly BUT it was not as described.
My item was listed as "used" but inside the listing it was ranked as new/like new. All pictures of the bag looked new.
The bag I received was well used. All the bottom corners were black and not at all like the pristine corner in the listing. Hermes Vache Country leather is very very stiff when new/like new but the leather on this bag was like rubber......very very slouchy which indicates long term use. The handles have softened and are almost smooth - they should not be smooth at all. Shame on me for trusting. - here's why. 3 years ago I totally forgot I ordered a Hermes Twilly from them that was listed as "new." It was no longer sold in stores and I had recently lost one (of a pair) and was trying to replace it. The twilly I received was not new. You could tell where it had been tied on bag handles and the dye had run. I did not try to return as I saw it as inconvenient but did leave appropriate feedback. They messaged me over and over to offer me a $10 refund and asked that I remove my feedback. I ignored.

Just bought a deauville from them this past month. It was just as described and I even authenticated it before purchasing. I had my doubts when I received the bag. I can tell right away. It’s a great bag. But yea I don’t see myself ever buying from Japan again *unless* it’s selling under the Authenticated Guarantee section of eBay. You live and learn.
