Years ago, this bag was listed on Bluefly for months. If I remember correctly it was leather and neoprene. Was this produced while Wang was at Balenciaga? He used the leather and neoprene combo on several of his AW bags.

Thanks! No clue about the neoprene. I'm sure others know more about it. It does have that neoprene-feel though. I wonder if it is more sturdy or resilient to the rain. That would be nice. I tend to dive for home when the rain starts if I'm out with a Bal bag.

Thank you so much for your messages Ladies!! However, I decided to send it back as I saw some further discoloration and this was not what I was expecting from a bag that was listed as new. But I won’t give up as this a beautiful bag!! And I might be looking for a black one by the way ;)

Did you get this on Fashionphile??? .. if so, this was previously my bag!!!!! Super hard to find, I used to pair it with an early Chevre Boobie with Silver hardware! ENJOY!!!

I received my pre loved PT S/S 12 Rose Bruyere with RGGH yesterday and I am soooo not used to using larger bags... I’ve only got mini city and first (which I treasure dearly) but thought it’s good to add another colour and size to my small Bal collection.

What do you all think??

Not neoprene at all .. full on Calfskin! I had owned this bag (did not purchase on Bluefly - purchased from the Balenciaga boutique years ago - I was very good friends with the Manager of the Beverly Hills boutique and she knew that I liked the more unusual bags). As far as I recall, these were SUPER-DUPER rare and honestly, I have never seen another bag like it!

THANK YOU so much for the information. Yes, from FP. I was wondering because it felt a little different from the usual smooth calfskin, but then it also was pretty soft and smelled like leather...I'm just in love with the overall look of it!

Here it is when I owned this bag (it was from 2015)2015 Special Edition - Calf with covered Silver HW.jpg; barely used it though .. so, off it goes ..
