I just bought my first Balenciaga bag and man oh man is she a beauty! I got the city bag small in white mock croc with palladium (brass) hardware. It's so elegant and it's the perfect size and I got it for half off retail from Neiman Marcus.

Wore them today, full day in the office and a formal meeting. They feel like my old slippers, super comfortable! My new favourites!

What a lovely little first!! I love the colour too!! 2008 bags were a mixture of agneau and chèvre as they were switching leathers, so maybe this one is a chèvre since you mentioned the leather being thicker!

Truthfully I wouldn’t know for certain. I just can’t tell the difference between the two leathers. I may pull put my 2005 work bag and compare the feel of the two leathers.
