I hear you. I sold my GSH f/w 07 Work with the best leather and have been searching for that leather ever since. I don’t regret selling the work, but I need that leather back in my life. Yours is perfection. And I think the black hobo with GSH combo is pretty rare.

My old one was gold, silver is deffo my preference with black.

Definitely. Not sure I ever prefer the giant gold on any color leather. The only time I’ve really liked the gold hw is the shiny chrome versions on newer bags and the satin golds on the holiday Hamiltons.
