Jack Russell Malletier?

I found one of these leather totes at TJMaxx last year and used it for a few weeks and the handles started to crack and fray. I really liked the bag so I didn't want to return it and TJmaxx of course had no more. I contacted the company for repair or replacement and they had no repair services available and refused to replace the bag. I felt left in the lurch and thought they had terrible customer service. The emails from their CS were snooty and rude. I just returned the bag to be done with them.

That's awful! I hope the quality was just a random issue. My CS experience was a lot better so maybe that's changed.

Here's the bag I purchased from YOOX. It just arrived and is still thawing out (it's insanely cold today). It's a sportier style than I typically carry, but it's good to expand my options. The size is nice (about 10x13 inches), it has feet on the bottom of the bag, and the price was great - $86. To be honest, I was most interested in the lining because Jack Russell Terrier Puppies!!! Win!

Added later: Oh, bummer!! It may be going back. It was advertised as being leather (from the yoox listing) but after handling it, I'm realizing it's just pvc coated canvas. Not nearly the bargain it was made to be. I'm sad.

YOOX offered me a 10% discount for the error, but I decided to return it because I knew I'd always be disappointed with it.

But I ordered a bag directly from JRM and it arrived. I really love it! It's a canvas bag (which they stated in the listing so at least I knew what I was getting) and the black color works well with that fabric. Again, it's sportier than I typically am drawn to, but it's a great size, I love the zippered compartments - there are 3, along with 2 that snap. It's very easy to get in and out of. It has the classic Jack Russell puppy lining. I love that the mirror is shaped like a dog bone - too cute!

The dog arrived too! He's made of leather and is *very* heavy. If you had 2 you could use them as bookends. He'll be sitting next to my Coach JRT, my talking Wishbone, and one of my Nipper & Chipper sets.
