J12 Automatic Problems?

I was leaving yoga(hot) today and I had left my watch on, when I went to check the time the crystal was a little fogged up. That's not good, right?

No advice on crystal? Anyone? Please? I just want to know if it's happened to anyone else and if it's a big thing or easy fix. Thanks for any help, I have a lot of watches but have never seen this happen.

I dont think this is normal for any watch. Is the watch still under warranty?

It was a gift and now I'm worried about it's origins, if you know what I mean. I don't want to walk into a store and be mortified. I would be very surprised if this was the case, but as I've grown older I've learned never to say never about a lot of things. Maybe I should take it to just a regular jewelry store that does not carry Chanel. I really don't want to open this can of worms.

It was presented in box, but person has same watch. I just have funny feeling. It was an unexpected large gift at the time.

I think you should take it to chanel store to ensure its origin if you are in doubt. if there is any problem, they can fix it.

If the crystal is fogging up on the inside then that is extremely dangerous for the watch. Moisture getting inside the watch and into the movements will damage it severely. However, if the crystal is fogging up on the outside of the crystal, meaning you can wipe it off, then that is fine.

Ive never had this happen to mine....its supposed to be safe to wear in the water I thought.

I live somewhere that gets very hot in summer. A few weeks ago I noticed my J12 had fogged up. Then a few days later it literally exploded. The back came off and all the screws came out. It stopped and so I took it to Chanel. They were very snooty and rude and said I must have either given it a huge shock (like chucking it against a wall) or i had taken it apart myself! I know why as both these things aren't covered under the guarantee. But they sent it to an expert at their HQ who agreed the watch was faulty, not me. They're replacing it. But my advice is the second your J12 fogs up- take it to the shop as this should not ever happen, no matter how hot it is. But mine was def genuine and it still did happen, whether it's rare or not...

Hi guys! I have a matte black J12 (not the new movement) and I think theres something wrong with the winder on mine.... Purchased in 10/2020 and issues began around late last year; anyone else having this issue?
