I was just looking at this bag on the site and came to tpf next and this was the first post I opened! It’s gorgeous!
Thank you everyone again for all of your kind words!! I extremely indecisive and always second guess my choices so thank you all for making me feel good about this one!
I LOVE the Bella tote!! There’s a thread out there titled “Bella Tote”, and I added my thoughts there. For the cliff note version, I love that it looks feminine with the pleats but yet edgy with the chain. I like the black one since it looks the most modern with the chain.Gorgeous bag !! Beautiful Mahina color as well!! I couldn’t guess the colorLove Mahina leather bag. Did you happen to check Bella tote as well at a store? Just wanted to know your thoughts of the bag.

It’s next on my list. I chose the Carmel this time because I just love the brown color, such a rich shade of brown. Who knew brown could be so exciting…LOL!!
I think you made a great choice! The darker colour would be more forgiving in terms of allowing you to style anyway you want it. You can go casual or semi-formal with this.

). Like the Carmel, it doesn’t have the same shape as in the picture on their website (narrow top/wide bottom)
. However, it’s still so comfortable and casually relaxed that I just love it! I find myself favoring to use my unstructured bags more than structured (Lady Dior) but that’s only because of my person style.Both the Carmel and Bella Tote are empty in my pictures, but I noticed the fuller looking unstructured bags in the store had stuffing to help with the shape. That’s probably the trick…stuff the heck out of these purses!

You take beautiful picture! It shows more detail of the bag and true Mahina leather color! I was looking( only at Lv web pictures )Arizona Brown color but black color is so beautiful! Yes it looks more modern look with a chain and no worries about color transfer. You said Arizona Brown is too clay looking in person? The chain can also use it for comfortable shoulder carrying? know I need to go the store to check out myself, thanks again for your review of the bag! I also love unstructured bags more and also tend to use it as well and agin love everything about Mahina leather bag, lightweight, silver hardware and supple etc.
By the way Lady Dior is an iconic-stunning bag!! I’m guessing from your username you own lots of stunning Chanel bags

I’m so glad that you liked the picture and hope that it gives you a better idea of what the bag looks like in real life without a professional stylist making it look “perfect”. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was how matte the leather is, given that the web pictures make it look a little shiny/smooth. I would have liked a little shine better.
i didn’t see the Arizona Brown in person, but it looks like a pale shade of brownish orange to me. However, for Mother’s Day, the website had a picture of it in a home setting with a scarf tied to the handle and it was stunning too! I think Mahina leather may be more porous so a lighter color may absorb and show dirt/stains easily, which would worry me enough not to use the purse at this price point.
With the Bella Tote empty, I tried it on using the chain as a shoulder bag and it felt fine. I wouldn’t want to load it up too much if carrying it this way for fear that the chain will dig into my shoulder and hurt if it were too heavy. However, I really like that you have 3 ways to carry this bag.
When I first joined Purse Forum, I was in a Chanel phase. But, I’m all over the place and am back to LV for now. I’m so glad that you asked about the Bella Tote because I just love it and plan to get it in the near future! Hopefully, you will too!!

BeautifulI was seriously contemplating the Marelle Tote, thanks to New To Coach’s reveal, because of its beautiful clean lines and understated elegance. However, I didn’t do the bag justice when I went to the store dressed in a well loved old T-shirt (with holes from over the years), baggy jeans, Birkenstocks, and frazzled hair pulled back in a pony tail. In fact, when I approached the greeter at the door to check in, I got the up and down look as if she wanted to say Walmart is down the street…LOL!!I didn’t care because I’m more mature now (aka old) and feel I’ve earned the right to be comfortable. This bag is perfect for me as every day bag / work( no big logos), medium size, design and of course lovely mahina leather! I also like this bag in black due to carefree and looks wise.
