Hi everyone! I'm a fashion blogger from Spain (http://www.iwanttobechic.com/blog/2016/10/freespirit) and I wanted to write a quick product review of this backpack from Issara that I got to style :) Hope you like it and find it useful!

Hello!, today I'm excited to share these photos and a little video! We shot them last week in Chelsea - I was wearing a nice silk printed dress with a gray wool sweater that doubles as a dress. I finished off the look with a woollen hat and scarf, and my lovely over the knee boots as the dress was very short. I try to wear colours, in loose, cool styles - something chic and simple. My main accessory was this backpack from Issara- it's made from super soft leather that feels amazing, and the workmanship is first class. The bag is well-sized yet fits a surprising amount - as I work away from home, it's perfect for carrying my camera, books, cardigan, umbrella, makeup, and has dedicated compartments for my laptop, sunglasses, keys, secret anti theft pockets for wallet/passport, and even a mesh area for shoes or a charger! Really well designed for a busy lifestyle with lots of travel. The best part? It's got a tracking chip that let's you track your bag with your phone. It will remind you if you forget your bag and will help locate it on a map if your bag is lost or stolen. The tech works world wide and the battery lasts up to a year. I don't know how I lived without this!

I’ve had the Issara Ziptop Tote (http://issara.co/shop/ziptop-tote/) for about a year now so thought it was about time to write a product review!

Reason for my purchase: I was referred to this company by a friend who had read an article on sustainable fashion on Forbes. Issara is based on the premise that beautiful designs can be both reasonably priced and ethically made and I love that. Not enough companies care about the supply chain! I selected the congac tote because 1) I loved the colour and 2) it was the perfect sized work bag I had been searching for.

Size: large enough to fit my 15” laptop, my clutch and books. It holds an amazing amount of stuff but doesn’t feel like you’re carrying a load. They’ve struck the perfect balance of form and function. As the material is quite soft and light, it’s easy to carry and doesn’t feel bulky. This is important to me as I’ll be carrying it all day at work.

Functionality: While I want to wax lyrical bout how functional and well-thought out this bag is, it’s also beautiful in its simplicity. I’m always getting compliments on it and it makes my day. Benefits of the large size aside, the pockets and zips have been well considered to make for a simple yet functional design, and there’s a little ring in there to hang your keys. The front slip pocket is ideal for a phone and functions as the general area to keep items that need to be accessed easily and quickly (e.g. boarding pass!). Inside there are 3 additional pockets – two without zips (fits passport, headphones, sunnies, little wallet), and one large pocket with a smooth zip where I keep jewellery, a small diary and makeup.

Wear and tear: Admittedly, I’m not amazing at caring for my bags. I travel a lot and my bags are left at the mercy of the weather. Regardless, this bag has aged beautifully. Despite the constant over-stuffing (I put 8 kgs in there when I travel), the straps show no signs of stress. There has been a little discolouration around the rim of the base of the bag on the sides, but overall the colour has remained unscathed. Zippers continue to work without a glitch and inner lining has withheld the trauma from many loose sharps including scissors and tweezers! I bloody love the lining on this bag - it’s a gorgeous “slate blue”, and very high quality twill. Touches like this make me feel like this is a company that doesn’t cut corners and the bag is worth every penny I’ve paid for it.

Downfall: I got this bag before Issara launched their trackable range so unfortunately haven’t got the benefit of a trackable bag.

Overall:
I have fallen in love with this tote. It’s turned out to be perfect, from the beautiful cognac colour (which goes with just about any outfit), to the size and functionality. I’ve just pledged for the trackable version of their new design tote in Navy through Issara’s kickstarter campaign. It ends today so definitely worth a look: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/issara/issara-minimalist-luxury-leather-bags-ethical-trac

Hope this is helpful @soramillay and @Kabergen22 !
