Is vachetta really that hard to take care of?

Here is a picture of the bottom of my Cabas Alto (used A LOT in the last six years, mostly for travel):

It's not perfect, but it's my main travel bag and I travel often, so, under the circumstances, I think it looks pretty good!

LV_addict, thanks so much for posting the picture. The bottom of your bag looks fantastic for being 6 years old. Do you use any products on it? Or do you have any tips on how to keep the vachetta is such good condition?

BrownPaperBag, I am oh so close to taking the plunge with you. I stopped by Bloomies on my way home from work and I looked at the Mezzo again. I think I just need to buy it already. Good luck with your Piano!

:D Wish we had an LV boutique here or any of the department stores that carry LV. But maybe that's a good thing because I might not ever be able to make up my mind. Thank goodness for eLuxury!

I have the Cabas Piano which is about 4 years old and the Vacchetta has aged fine; as a matter of fact, I also have the Alma in total Vacchetta! I know a lot of you would be horrified, but I like it and use it just like any other bag without any particular worry, the only thing I don't use it when it rains...:D
