Is this too big for a wedding ring?

well honest opinions was what you asked for so here is mine, its a beautiful ring, but not sure if its what I would have as a wedding ring, at first glance it looks like you are wearing 2-3 rings which is fine , but if this means you can't wear your engagement ring then are you sure you want this? im my personal opinion one or two slimmer bands with good sized diamonds is the ideal - but just my opinion, if you love it then you wear it , who cares what anyone else thinks?

In all honesty, who cares what others think of your ring? It's your wedding ring and you should enjoy it. Personally, I think that it's lovely

I love it, I think it looks great on you. I don't think it is too big at all. I agree with purse whore, there is no such thing as too big in the world of diamonds and engagement rings. Wear it proud.

Once I went shopping with a great friend for a coat. I saw a red coat I really loved. She said it was tacky and I ended up buying a coat she said wasn't tacky (the saleslady agreed with her). sort of a grey tweed.
I hated that tweed coat so much and was mad every time I put it on.
I wanted a RED coat.
At that time, I only had money for one winter coat.
But since then we have gotten better off and I own about three red winter coats, and I feel happy every time I wear them and I don't care what anyone else thinks at all.

wow, i am in shock that your mother and best friend actually said that about your gorgeous new wedding ring. omg, it's YOUR ring, not theirs. therefore, it's none of their concern if it's "tacky" or not. the point is, you're happy with it and that's all that matters.

to be honest, i sometimes think when people react this way, it's because they're jealous. but i can't imagine your mother being jealous, so just ignore them and enjoy it! sounds like you've earned it.
