My black flap I bought ten years ago I can’t even tell where it connects and disconnects but it seems so obvious for my new beige flap. Could you let me know if this is something that’s a defect or would bother you?

I have classics dating as late as 2012 and all of mine look like that. There are a ton of threads in the last 10 years where people ask if this is normal. Completely normal

My Maxi Flap is like that too, and it’s a Series 12 however, it’s not as protruding as yours seems to be. I would try and see what they can do about it at the boutique as I feel like that would bother me.
