Pepe from years before used to be very durable! don't know what happened to it during past years, personally love the look of it, but won't buy. New pepe has a lot of issues, doesn't wear well (based on other people's experience).

Agree, my pepes so far has had no issues and I own several, but they weren't from recent years. Lamb is by nature a delicate leather, but it really depends on each season's sourcing and tanning. I must say it's still better than Chanel quilted lambskin from recent years! I just scratched the smooth lamb so the pepe at least hides it better!

I think it’s a good deal considering its the medium and it’s black, most scuffs can be puffed and touched up easily with leather conditioner etc.

Yeah, aside from I love how black bags look, I feel like it's a no-brainer. I don't need to colour-match with outfits, I don't need to worry about colour-transfers, no need to baby etc.
