I just got this today and am so excited , but was wondering if this streaking is normal ?
Luckily it is one the back and maybe after it gets a darker patina it won't show as much.
Any ideas?
Thanks:D

One thing I've learned from buying these bags in this leather is not to be too fussy.
Marks and variations on the leather is normal and yours looks fine to me. With some that I've had personally I'd have been happy with that and I'm yet to see an absolutely flawless one.

Mine came with a little bit of streaks, however mine look more horizontal. I don't mind them -- I'm viewing it as though it's part of the bag's personality :)

Does everyone treat theirs before they wear them out?

Last night on the bottom of my bucket I tested a waterproofing spray that I've used on all my other bags and while it marks when it sprays on, it dries and the markings quickly disappear. I plan on spraying the entire bag tonight!

I used what I thought was a waterproofing spray on my black bag the other day and when it dried it left huge white spots all over.......luckily my leather cleaner was able to get most of the white film off......

I have just treated ny bag with Apple Care conditioner and Apple Garde waterproofing spray. The conditioner left mild streaking on my black, though I tried my best to apply evenly and buff them out. It's not obvious and can be seen only at certain lighting angles, but I would think it could be obvious on cammello. The spray worked well for me as usual, dried immediately with no stain/spots.

I'm glad those both worked well for you....I have another conditioner (Chamberlains Leather Milk) that I heard was good coming in a few days that I will treat my camello/dolly with....can't have any mistakes with that light of a color...
