Is this gold hardware too yellow?

The thing is I mostly own white/rose gold jewelry.. what black bags with silver hardware do you own?
I have a Mulberry Alexa, RM MAB Mini Side Zip Tote, Longchamp Le Foulonne satchel, Lumi Saara backpack, a Mulberry tote...I think that's it. Others have either very pale gold, gunpowder or brass hardware.
I have a watch that has yellow, pink and rose gold colors in it so it pulls together any look.

What watch is that? It sounds pretty and something I need to add to my wardrobe!

It's a Citizen Eco-Drive, from 2013 or 2014 collection. I have seen them do similar things after that as well, so might be worth checking out. I love mine, both because of the look and the fact that it charges itself using light so I never have to think about exchanging the battery.

Well, if you consider trend, then yellow and pink gold might not be as prevalent at the moment as it was some years ago... but who cares! Like others have said, if you like it then that's all that matters. If you can't make up your mind, sometimes it helps to think about it what the design represents. Shiny stuff is ... well, shiny! It takes peoples attention. And there is nothing wrong with that, if that's what you want.
For me, the only thing that makes hardware look tacky is when it's so heavily lacquered that i notice the lacquer in finer details. (not referring to your bag, just a general comment!)

I think it looks great and not too yellow at all. I love mixing hw like silver and gold bangles together etc so it'll look good with anything you wear. You chose a classic piece so 5-10 years down the line, you'd still be able to wear this bag. Congrats!

I really regret not getting the silver.. I have already worn this out for a hour so I’m not sure if YSL would let me exchange. Some of my friends say it’s too gaudy and the other half love it. What colors can I pair it with so the chains won’t look so yellow?

PS. Sorry abt the cleavage
I think you can tone down the gold by mixing and matching gold, rose gold (if you have any) AND silver jewelry and accessories; that way you don’t have too much gold. Adding more gold only will just emphasize the gold you already have and make things more formal. Mixing metals will give a fresh spin and dress everything down a bit.
