I feel that they will be around for a while...just like in 2004-6 Dooney and Bourke were HUGE, everyone had the copycat LV monograms and then Coach. It comes and goes..as fashion usually does. What's in now will be out in a few years, just wait a few years and it'll come back. HELLO CRIMPED HAIR
lol! So true! I have seen so many styles go in and out and then in , again!

I have 2 Hamiltons in E/W in soft pebbled leather they are in black and lugguge color every time I used either one of them I got soo much compliment. I have 1 Sutton in Saffiano leather but I wish it came in soft pebbled leather as well other than that I'm loving all my purchase to MK❤️ Back to Hamiltons I think that this are the MK design that are still in "Hype" IMO because i think the style and the simple look but yet loud because of the Big lock in the front but I believe that this bag will always remain its own popularity.

I agree with most of what's been said - it's a classic MK piece, so for any MK enthusiast, it will always hold value. That being said, like most things in fashion, all pieces have their "peaks" - the Hamilton may have reached it's peak but it could always come back. Above all, the most important thing is you - if you like it, if it suits you, and you want it, go for it!

In my personal opinion, I am holding onto one while letting another go because I prefer more minimalistic designs.

I don't know about popularity. But when I carry my NS Hamilton, I always get compliments and people ask where I bought it because they don't recognize the brand. So that means it's a classic in my book^_~

No one at work even recognize that it's an MK bag until I told them. Then they asked if it was a real Mk bag!

You have two Hamilton Travelers, right, and are letting one go? I think there needs to be a distinction made between the original Hamilton (in soft leather and saffiano leather with chain/leather strap) and the new variations on the Hamilton (the Hamilton Traveler in vitelo leather, the top zip Hamilton in saffiano leather, etc). The original Hamilton is a classic in my opinion. The others not so much.

All are beautiful, but I think the original Hamilton is the one that people will be carrying for years to come. For those who think the lock/key will go out of style, that's what makes it a classic (aka Hermes Birkin dupe). The beauty of the Hamilton is that you can take the lock off whenever you want, and it looks like a totally different bag. Plus there isn't an MK logo on the bag, only on the lock, so without the lock it just becomes a beautiful satchel/tote. Or you can take off the lock, open up the belt, and carry it with the lock on the bare hook. So many options for this bag make it a classic in my opinion.

I totally agree with this!
