Yup, vrv=verde, rosso, verde (green,red,green stripes) or more popularly known as the web design.

I think that Gucci as a brand tries to make its bags look a little tacky (logo, big goals details, red/green webbing) - it's part of the look of the brand. I actually like it overall, and don't mind that signature bag. Gucci just isn't a brand that is meant to be invisible!

I'm not sure what you mean?

You mean big logos - like Chanel's GST PST?
and noticeable iconic detailing like BVs' weaving?
or Big bold hardware like Hermes' Constance bags/belts and Chanel's classic lock bags?

Gucci makes bags with bamboo handles or with little horse-bits and so on, I guess everything recognisable as Gucci is tacky?

I guess all premier leatherwear manufacturers try to make their bags tacky, tacky them and tacky us

You are absolutely right. All premier brands try to make their items known. So I guess like one poster said that one monogrammed item is ok. If it is carried well and not overdone...why not?

I am crazy about Dionysus as well!

Every brand has bags that are considered "tacky" by some! If we avoided all the bags like that, we wouldn't be left with any bags at all. Hell, I have a friend who stopped carrying her Birkins because everybody points at it and calls it out from having seen it on a Kardashian.

To me this logo/monogram especially isn't that obvious at all. Like another poster said, I bet it just looks like a pattern, esp not up close. Just because our trained eyes can pick it out doesn't mean everybody can :laugh:
