I’ve loved and let go of many bb for one reason or another but still enjoy the silhouette and easy carry. I wonder has this bag seen it’s day? I realize it’s a 90s revamp of a classic bag created for Coco Chanel and love that history but was this a trend that has come and gone or is it a classic? I do notice the clubhouse has had maybe 30 pages added in a year..
thanks for any opinions as always.
For reference, this has caught my eye

I bought a Alma BB in DE last year on impulse (becasue I saw a few ootd inspo on IG, not gonna lie) and absolutely love the bag despite it not being my most carried, most functional one.

I've always loved the bag, for as long as I first discovered it, except I always thought I'd end up with an epi leather one and perhaps in the PM size. Guess life doesn't work the way we want it eh .

Now that it's in my collection I have no intention of ever letting it go. My only regret is I wish I had bought it a few years back so I could've saved some $$$

ETA: voted Classic of course ;) aaannnd I've recently purchased a guitar strap for it just to make it "fun and trendy"

I love the bag too. I also adore a bag that has multiple carry options. The DE has always been on my radar. Still need to get something in this print, though Ive mostly paired down my collection to a few leather bags. Thank you for your thoughts! I find myself wondering if age is a factor with this bag, though I’d never let age sway my purchase.

The Alma itself is classic. I think personally the BB size is right and adorable. The new straps for the Bb does make it trendy though. I hope LV goes back to regular leather straps.
I actually really prefer a strap that adjust (I’m 5’3). I do feel this strap is current but will date over time. I know the neonoe comes in these colors and am hoping I may be able to track down that strap on fashionphile or just pick up some alternatives on Etsy. I was considering the PM size as well but I like the bb strapless for an evening out. Thank you for sharing our thoughts :flowers:

I literally had this exact question in my mind today! Thank you for asking it. I have my eye on the Alma BB in the monogram print but was just wondering, is this dated?? It's just so cute in that size.

I think its a classic shape. Definitely in the same boat considering the Epi BB in White
I've been on the hunt for a white bag that will be somewhat durable. Had to return my Coussin PM in Cream so I think this will definitely fit the bill! I pre-ordered the Coussin in Mint/Yellow so waiting for that to come first... ahhh need to go to ban island soon!

Birds of a feather here. I ordered and returned the Coussin Pochette in pink, it was just slightly to small for daily carriage otherwise loved it! I also have been searching for a white bag, this being small with different ways to carry I should be able to keep it clean. It’s also cute for a night out and a removable strap means I can update it’s look in the future.

Yup! The multiple carry options is such a huge bonus! My favourite is the top handle way (the classiest way!) as I find the original leather strap too long for my liking and that is why I got an adjustable guitar strap to go with it so the bag can sit higher up; on my torso rather than on my hips. I always bring the strap with me tho in case I ever need my hands free.

Don't think it's "age" per se but rather your personal taste/style over time. Some people age to like more colourful, vibrant things and some are the opposite. I've refined my everyday style to be quite neutral and the DE just fits right in
