Is Pink a Classic Colour?

I don't think it would look too dated or too young. If it's a "good" pink, I think it will have longevity. By "good" I mean that it works well in a lot of situations and lighting and there is nothing annoying about it. For example, a deep blue-toned fuschia might be very sophisticated, while a brighter shade might be fatiguing. I would think saint laurent would make good colors.

However.... I couldn't carry it. I can't relate to fuschia in a purse. I do have a fuschia print top that doesn't bother me for some reason, very easy to wear, and some fuschia croc pumps that I love but am too shy to wear, but might if they were less pointy, and a few print scarves that I love that have fuschia in them. So I don't know what my problem is with a fuschia purse. I could carry a small, more flesh-toned pink purse. :shrugs: I think you have to relate to the color to pull it off.

My clothes are mostly neutral too, Prettyvogue, which is why I can rock the pops of color in small bags pretty easily. Here is my fuchsia crossbody, a Chanel mini! I just got the card case at Tiffany & Co. and I was so pleased that it was a perfect match! :D

Wow I love this bag! It looks beautiful in that colour and the matching card case is TDF!

I also think pink goes with a lot. Actually a lot of colors work with other colors you wouldn't ordinarily think would look good together. But, and I am always telling my friends and even husband this, anything looks good if you feel good in it/carrying it. If you love something and it makes you feel great you will look great but if something makes you feel uncomfortable it won't look good. If you love the bag, especially if you wear a lot of neutrals, it will look great because you will feel great!

There are no rules when it comes to style, sure neutrals are timeless but why not make it your classic pop of colour that you go to when you want to wow like on a night out, like a bold red lip and the lbd that never date. Be confident and if you like the bag enough make it work for you.

I just turned 30 and wished for a fuchsia Louis Vuitton Pochette. For me it is a classic color that matches the colors I usually wear; black, white and all kinds of blue.
