Is Kelly 40 discontinued?

My SA has offered me a K40 retourne (classic color as he suggested) as a guy everyday bag. I will go to check out in shop next week.
But at this stage I am not sure if should take it, because what I have been thinking is a K35. Any views? I am 1.7m tall.
I have two Kelly 35 (sellier and retourne), and female. Not a fan of small bags. If I were you, I would go for a K40 if the leather is togo. At least, you can fit an A4 file folder easily if you want to use it as a work bag.

Thanks both's reply. Quite a dilemma because there are not many videos on K40 for reference. I thought K35 would be perfect for a4 documents and a light lap top. I watched quite some videos on Birkin 40 and I would say its a big large for a 1.7m tall guy.

Will further update when I see the real bag.

The narrowing near the top and the depth of my Kelly 35 is slimmer/smaller than a Birkin 35. I prefer to close my Kelly so hence harder - it’s your preference, some like it open. Try it on and see what you could chuck your A4 doc folders plus laptop easily.

You can find videos on K35 for an idea - in this video, he has to ‘wing’ the sides out for his 13inch laptop and remove his insert.

Thanks all for the useful advice. Paid visit to store last weekend, saw the real Kelly 40, gold color, GHW, and passed.

Weight: not that heavy for a guy. Acceptable weight if you are used to carrying a lot of stuff with you.
Look: a really nice and classic bag. it's just "a little bit" (yeah and just a little bit) large, especially the bottom part relative to my height. I think it may look smaller if it were a black bag
Strap: definitely need to replace with a wide strap, and maybe a longer strap for cross-body (but it may look stupid if using as a cross-body bag)
Conclusion: I told my SA if I were 6ft tall I would definitely take it, so passed.

My SA just can't think of any to suit my style and need to think over again and see what can be an alternative. Will definitely would like to hear from you any suggestions.

I'm a 5'3" (1m60cms) woman and I have a Kelly 40 but mine is the now discontinued Kelly Sellier Mou.
I wear it with a wide Canvas strap or Valentino Rockstud guitar strap.
it actually doesn't look too big but it is a soft bag even though its sellier (Mou is french for soft)
If I were you I'd try a black or very dark coloured retourne Kelly again and try it with a wide canvas strap...The thin leather strap looks unbalanced on any kelly bigger than 28 to my eyes.
I have a Jypsiere in a 31 in gold and it actually looks bigger to by eyes when I wear it than my Kelly.
I think its the Gold somehow makes the bag appear bigger.
