I have never seen anyone wear a JUC in person (other than my SA). I've seen half dozen love bracelets though. And even those are rare and far between.

Agree!! I think it's by far my favourite of all my pieces of jewelry - Cartier and non-Cartier.
The only place where I saw JUC on someone in real life is Monaco. I own one myself, so I’d definitely spot it. Instagram is not real life, you don’t see ultra luxury jewelry all over the place. The only bracelet I see more or less often is Love, but again, happens couple times a year, not every day.
I don’t do much social media. But I do live in NYC part of the year and I see JUC fairly often here. Not as often as love of course, but it’s not surprising to see it on someone in person. I wouldn’t say it’s overdone, but also maybe not especially noteworthy except the pave version.
Ever since they introduced the JUC thin model, I've been seeing the JUC more often in the wild. However it is still a rare enough sight compared to the Cartier Love and the VCA perlée bracelet.
The JUC is a classic model and has been around for decades and will likely be around for a long time to come. Enjoy your jewelry and don't spend precious time and energy on what others might or might not have.

The thing about the bolts is totally true. I love the ecrou braceket but IRL it never looks like in photos.
in my opinion, Bvlgari has some beautiful and less common pieces than Cartier. Maybe just try them and see how you feeling about them.

Same. Since I got my bracelet I’ve only seen one (ring) in my area. Maybe a few others while traveling but that’s it.
I have the large JUC w diamonds. I rarely ever see any of the models IRL so I would say no. I know of two other women with them and they are both family members.
I have worn a JUC for probably the last 6 to 8 years and I only ever see it on the internet otherwise. In real life, people always comment on how interesting and unique they think it is and how they've never seen anything like it before.
But I would highly suggest the Ecrou as I love it even more than the JUC.
