Hi all. I've seen several designers making WOC, obviously Chanel, Ysl (there's no saint Laurent without yves sorry), lv, and Tory burch to name a couple. I was considering one of the Ysl chain clutches/wallet on chain.
I wanted to see if anyone uses a wallet on chain as a everyday wallet, no matter what the brand is, if it's Chanel or Tory burch etc.
Do you think this would make for a good wallet since the chain is detachable? Or is it too big/cumbersome? I haven't tried one on in years and my needs have changed since then.
Credit card wise I have two main ones I use, and then a couple of store cards, Id, insurance etc.
I have a vernis Sarah I don't really use because it is delicate and I didn't really need access to all of my cards. I saw that women use these for both going out and errands.
My essentials would be a small hand lotion, lip product, blotting, maybe a portable battery but I just got a phone case that doubles my battery life. Otherwise I would throw in mini emergency stuff.
Is the woc too big to use as a wallet in other bags? Thanks!

I contemplated this too as I haven't got a WOC yet, and been seeing many people using it as a small crossbody bag. I think it's convenient for when you have very little stuff to carry, and just want to bring the barest essentials. The cost is slightly less than proper bags, but maybe more hassle free and not bulky at all. But I am fine with just using wallets without chains, and I can leave them be in my bags without worrying about snagging and scruffing, and I cannot justify a WOC in my lifestyle that can work as a crossbody, as I have chain shoulder bags and they fit that need.
