is it possible to have it all?

I suppose I'll have to try some more on...I've only tried on e-rings by themselves never with a pairing so I suppose that's next on my list. Thank you ladies for all your advice!

wanna hear something weird?

i'm married and i STILL haven't found the perfect ring!!!!!!!!

i mean i do have a ring set - but i don't wear it because just like you i'm clumsy, and its pretty delicate/expensive.. i feel silly wearing it.

anyway i doubt you'll find something with all those 3 qualities - especially the non-sticking-out part.. almost every ring i have seen has the stones sticking out.. and the ones that don't look weird..

so i just wear a fake fashion diamond (well not fake - man made) on a platinum setting and leave the other in the safe. i can't imagine losing it, especially not with the price that was spent on it. :wtf::wtf:

anyway this is the site i got my daily -wear- diamond ring from.

OH i just found one!!! doesn't stick out!

it looks like it fits a couple (maybe all?) of your 3 wants.. oh, and it has a matching band..

This is one of my favorite solitaires giving what you have described...

I'm a big sucker for a profile view since I like to look at my rings from every angle and I LOVE this one!

I bought this ring, but had them remove the setting before shipping the diamond to me. I was in two minds about it, because it's such a beautiful, elegant and yet whimsical solitaire setting, but it just wasn't me. From memory, the diamond was set as low as possible in it.

Getting the height just right for a setting seems like quite a delicate operation. I've asked my jeweller to give the the mm height for my ring, but he doesn't know just yet - he said once it's done, it will be perfect. Let's hope so!

ETA: I think custom is the best way to go unless you find something absolutely perfect, meeting all your requirements, 'off the rack'. It's great fun to work with your jeweller to design your ring (it's probably the only 'couture' experience I'm ever going to have!), and you can make sure that every last detail meets your requirements, so there will be no regrets later on.
