I think you should be able to wear or carry anything you like as long as you're confident doing so! I personally don't care too much about what other people think as long as I think I can pull off a look then Ill go for it :)

OMG women.... Have a little courage. I have bought cosmetic pouches specifically to use as a clutch. I would totally use, say, the MC for that purpose. Start a new fad!

I totally agree with this. People always tend to follow the normal trend. Be creative start a new fad!!

I have courage and don't mind doing my own thing, but I don't want to walk around with a cosmetics case pretending it's a clutch.

lol...that's the point it's not pretending anything. It's a bag...made of canvas, leather, whatever...it's still just a bag and if it is handheld it's a clutch...what the heck does it matter what is it labeled.

OP, if Princess Di could carry her TP26 (a cosmetic bag) as clutch over and over...it was clearly one of her favorite bags for many years...I think you could use a cosmetic bag too.

I don't base my decisions on what a celebrity does (lol) I wouldn't carry a cosmetics case as a clutch because IT LOOKS LIKE A COSMETICS BAG, it doesnt matter what it's labeled, what matters to me is the shape.

Btw, OP is talking about the rayures case, not the tp26, so your pic of lady Di is irrelevant. If you want to look like you're on your way to the bathroom go right ahead, but *I* wouldn't do it.

I do all the time - that's why I have two! They're perfect for me for nights out. Who cares what other people think, it's all about having the confidence to pull it off. I would go for it! Plenty of girls I know use the pochette as a makeup bag as well. As long as you rock it like you mean it, who cares! I like to use my bags for what I want to use them for, and not what others expect me to use them for.

And PS...no one except Vuitton lovers know my TP26s are actually cosmetic bags. I'm constantly stopped with people asking about my clutches!

Got my mono GM and plan to use it as a clutch! Ppl use bags, pouches, traveling cases all the time for different purposes not always what's intended for :D
You can always try and see if it will works for you!

Yep. I've carried my Vernis amarante as the colour was perfect for a dress i was wearing to a cocktail party. Nothing wrong with changing things up! BTW the noe was designed to carry champagne and its used as a handbag now ;)
