Is it me? Kelly in Togo or Clemence doesn't seem right

I have to disagree - I have a togo 35 kelly. I do know what you are getting at though. Mine is a less grainy togo, but for my style I love the way it's a more relaxed version of what can be a very smart bag. I would feel I would have to smarten up if I had say a box kelly. Works casually for me.

I have a 28cm in clemence and 35cm in togo (both retourne). I understand your thoughts coz sellier kelly (esp. in box leather) is very sharp and smart-looking. Yet kelly in clemence / togo aren't necessary go slouchy. If the bag is well cared of (like not stuffing a lot of things in and use appropriately) these two leathers can still show the beauty of a kelly

I think in brighter colors, these leathers give this bag a little more casual and carefree style.
I don't really care for a Kelly in black togo, or clemence though.

I am debating this as we speak...trying to decide between a Raisin togo Birkin or Kelly. I love the Kelly, but am worried about the shape of the bag being maintained over time in the slouchier leather?

Agree with bella, luvbirkin,Poshhony,Raz. I just ordered two 32 Kelly.a black in togo a fuschia in chevre.I always thought I can wait a few more years to carry a Kelly. now I couldn't wait to have them. why, I think the slouchy felling give the Kelly a more casual and youthful looking.great with jeans.I am not that young ,not that ''old'',right in the middle.a slouchy Kelly just feel right. at this moment.I don't mind to have a croc Kelly this second either....

I really love a grainy leather Kelly versus the smoothness of Box or Swift leather. It add another dimension to that timeless style. I think it looks more modern than Box leather. A less fussy alternative.
