yes..its really true. spoke to salesperson in balenciaga store in costa mesa also s/p in neiman marcus and they both confirmed the GGH will be discontinued and they are not sure when or if it will comeback.

i'm bracing myself for a possible flame.. I never liked the ggh or gsh.. seemed to flashy for me. I'm secretly happy its gone.

I can understand that it is a big bummer for all of you and I'm sorry about it happening. Stock up! They usually repeat colors with little variants so you could prolly get a earlier season ggh with the color/style you want or generally want before they axe the ggh.

I am sure anything being discontinued is inducing a mad panic to get it now...but i was just in paris and at each of the bal-stores their, the SA's were quite adamant that the GGH were part of the permanent collection.
Maybe they were just not informed...who knows?

The SA at Nordies said that they are discontinuing GGH forever. Who knows if she's 100% correct or not, but she said that Balenciaga just feel that the GSH captures they're projected image more, that's it's just more Balenciaga than the GGH. What ever that means....I think it's a terrible decision. Some colors NEED the GGH just like some colors need the GSH! I do hope they realize their mistake and bring it back.

I was told that certain stores ARE NOT ordering the GGH for next year; NOT that Balenciaga is discontinuing them. For instance, Barneys will not be carrying the GGH (don't ask me why - I prefer the GGH). I think this might be adding fuel to the confusion.

Just before i found my o7 ggh black pt, i was trying to order one from bal.com. And they sent an email stating they are getting 09's with ggh. Not sure if it's for all the colors or just black?
