For now I'm happy and content:-)
I have a small collection of bag that I do rotate in weekly basis, so that way everyone is getting the love and use out of it:-) I do save money for my bag purchases...and I like makeup too so there for I have to save for both:-) and every year I do travel abroad for my vacation so that being said I have to spend in my money in moderation:-) (trust me it's hard) But this year I have a 2 more bags that I would purchase both from burberry a wallet and crossbody bag and after that I'm done for 2014 I plan to buy the wallet on my Birthday and the crossbody is mt Christmas gift for my self:-) My family always gifted me a giftcards or cash coz they know that I can add it to pay for my little addiction:-) Have a good day everyone I did enjoy everyone's thought about this thread:-)

Thanks for starting this thread, OP.

I have reached a point where I do not NEED any more bags in the immediate future. Yes, nobody actually needs these things, but some of you know what I mean.

The last time I saw a bag that I had to have was in 2012. I am using the bag right now. There are just no bags out there that compel me to open my wallet.

I do however think that I would like to add a Chanel chevron jumbo, a Chanel or LV makeup bag and possibly a Birkin someday, but as of today, I am enjoying what I have and not lusting after anything.

Hopefully, I qualify as bag content.

I am. I have all that I want, all that I have room for, and gotten rid of what I don't use. There are bags in the Fall14 collections that I'm curious about, but as of now one would have to be perfect in every way - function, size, material, color, weight, etc - for me to buy it.

There was a time where I was content. It tasted a few months. LOL.

And only recently I broke my savings record where I didn't buy anything for months and now I managed to buy more designer stuff other than bags... Argh!

However there will always be a few bags that I will get some day, but not for now. I'm actually kind of content right now with what I have, the other bags on my wishlist can wait for the time being. :)

Well said! I'm in the same place as you. Being content allows me to rediscover the fun in rejoicing in others' (on this forum) purchases without feeling any gnawing sense of envy.

As well as the fact that there is life outside bags!

At the end of the day not having a certain bag never hurts anyone. There are a lot of good people, interesting subjects and enjoyable things outside of the world of handbags. :)

Well. There is not another bag I need right now. Now I am working on wallets and thinning out my SGL. I recently sold a bunch of bags and am now to a good amount. I could probably get rid of one more bag.

Of course there are a few HGs that I will always lust after and hope to acquire eventually, like the LV SC and the Chanel camera case (if I can ever find one) but I am pretty happy with my collection. I think I have just the right mix of classic, vintage, LE and "it" for my lifestyle right now.

I am wholeheartedly on the contentment cruise!! I added three bags to my collection in 2013 that filled the gaps in my handbag repertoire. The change to a SAHM lifestyle and that the fact that we are now based in a not so prosperous part of Europe had also contributed to this contentment. I am in the process of upgrading my shoes selection. This is work in progress (added my third pair of Varina flats and ankle boots this sale season) so bags have to take a backseat...

Are there ladies here who are actually content with the bags they have at the moment? I realized I haven't wanted to buy anything for a long time and have enough that when I get bored, I can pull out one of the lesser used bags and satisfy the urge for novelty.

We're usually talking about what we want to buy and stressing over having too much, so I thought it might be nice to have a thread about being satisfied with what we have!
So far I still have lots of bags that I wish I could have. For now, I just have a lv cabas piano, Hermes her bag and Gucci. I would really love to have a Chanel flap and Chanel gst and of course a Hermes birkin. Maybe if I have them I will be contented. But it's very hard to be contented on what you have when designer bags continue to come up with new designs that it is impossible not to cave for.
