Not at all....

Its appropriate imo, and a nice little addition to any wordrobe. I love that little sparkle that it gives....

It would seem a bit much if you had alot of jewlery on and then the watch as well...just a personal thing.... but too much of a good thing is over whelming for everyday. But for special events, etc....its all eye candy and I love to see women dressed and adorned to the nines.....

I was wondering about this. I do have one watch that has pave diamonds on the face but it has a Tag or sporty look to it. I have worn it in the day, because it's extremely comfortable and with all the Ice blingy watches and jewelry that are being worn, it's OK. If I stay out of the light, no one notices, because of the size and style of the watch. But then again, I live in NYC. Would I do it in a small town? No. That would be the out to dinner, etc. watch. But I have a question, if it's not appropriate, as some would suggest, why would you put diamonds on diver style watches with 330 feet plus water resistance? You are not going the ocean with diamonds, you might be attracting unwanted attention from sea creatures. File this in the Huh? category.

I think if a watch has diamonds on the face or bezel then it is okay to wear everyday.

However, if the watch is basically diamonds everywhere (which I'm afraid is NOT my style) then it is definately too much to wear everyday and should be left for special occasions.

Despite what we say - there is such a thing as "too much".

A big THANKS to everyone who voted/shared their opinion!

I took the plunge and bought a diamond Philip Stein watch, and I couldn't be happier with it!!:love: I will share pics soon!

I've worn my Michele diamond bezel watch every day since I got it about two-three years ago. (On the other hand, if a watch face was completely encrusted in pave diamonds, that might be a bit much for casual wear, lol!)

*waves to cosmo*....Hi all! I have the two-tone version of this Michele and I wear it every day. It's a little heavier than the RW tank watch my ex BF gave me so it took a little time getting used to it but it is not OTT at all and it works with a t-shirt & jeans just fine :okay:.

I just got an Ebel Beluga with diamond bezel and diamond markers that I wear everyday and its not at all too much or overdone for everyday! if a watch was completely covered in diamonds everywhere it might be a bit much for everyday imo...

I wear a Bedat that has small diamonds surrounding the face (sorry, I don't know how to post pics). When I first bought it I was a little worried that it was too dressy but I've gotten used to it and really like the look. I'd love to own several watches to switch off. Just for the record, I'm a stay at home grandmother who watches her 3 yr.old gd full-time.
