is 09 ANTHRA very similar to 07?

I don't think the true color of anthra can be compared to outdoor photos. Yes, it changes in different lighting but the primary color is grey, not blue. Also, my anthra bbags are a lot more blue when I take a photo outdoors versus when I'm carrying them outdoors. Try to keep this info in mind so that when you do purchase anthra in any year you are not disappointed with the color IRL. The beauty is the chameleon effect in different light sources, that's why I have 3 anthra bbags!

i have an 09 anthra city, and it looks quite a bit like the day photo here, which i think has quite a lot of green undertones. mine definitely has green undertones rather than blue, particularly under certain lights. in other lights, it's a pretty neutral grey, but never blueish. i think the 09, at least on the cities, is lighter than other years, and slightly more green. my leather is not the best, but i still love the color and enjoy the bag a lot.

I definitely think rh 09 has more green undertones than blue. The SGH brings out the grey more on the front side of my midday since there is so much of the SGH on the front of the bag. The silver reflects the grey tones. My s/a actually pointed that out to me - silver reflecting grey. The back of the bag has more blue undertones since there is a lot less silver to reflect the color. I am thinking of buying an anthra in rh since all of mine have giant hw. It would probably look completely different than my gh bags!

darlinga - your day is gorgeous. I do see more blue on my monitor but am wondering if it is darker IRL than your photo depicts.

I just got home and got some outside pics of 07 anthra compared to 09 anthra.

07 is the one with the GGH, the 09 is RH! I'm parting with the 09 because is is sooo much like my 07 in color as you can see!

i am totally agree with you roey
now i am very curious to see all anthra irl ....i think gold giant brings out the green /blue undertones i love how this colour changes in every picture..incredible!!

Comparison of 09 anthra rh and SGH. The rh is a bit more green toned (teal-blue versus grey-blue) as kobro noticed but the color is still amazing! The SGH is my midday, under a cloudy skylight and in Barneys store lighting. The third photo is more true. I think I'm going for rh next as they are so different!

^^Wow! There is a big difference! And Roey, it a bit darker IRL than in my pics, but definitely shows some blueish!

It's amazing how different all the anthras are, even within the same year!
