I just e-mailed my SA to ask about sizing and prices of the Carabas. When I get more info, I'll post it here.

I had exactly the same reaction, restricter! Great-looking bag, isn't it?!

This bag reminds me a lot of my very old Marc Jacobs Blake which I have just dug out of the back of my cupboard! Had forgotten how heavy the damn thing was! Could certainly give a Birkin a run for its money, lol!

My SA said the 35cm was NT$17X000 (roughly $6000) and 44cm was NT$21X000 (roughly $7300) given that Taiwan prices are approximately 10~15% more expensive than US at the moment, I think they should be in the US$5000~6000 range??

Carabas looks like a practical everyday bag to me, I would have got one if my store has one in lighter colours, all the ones we have are dark colours like black, indigo, dark brown etc

I think that's a 44cm carabas, I am not very familiar with carabas but I think the 35cm comes with only one front pocket??

Actually, my SA send that photo to me,coz I asked him how "green" was vert veronese...

Fly there... It will prob be cheaper. The store actually had really good inventory considering it is so tiny, and the SA was so helpful - she pulled out about 4 bags for me and about 10 scarves - I literally took over the shop!
