I think the color is probably best represented in the first pic. It's got tones of burgundy, plum and brown. It almost seems to be different colors in different lighting. I'm sure with the sun on it, it'll look more like "wine", sorta how it's depicted in pic #2. But in "dark" lighting, it looks like #3, very dark and rich. I just love the bag!!! Thanks for everyone's compliments
