My bag arrived today and it is beautiful. It is the rust color but to me it is not a true rust although I do like the color. In low light it has a pink tint and in natural light it appears darker than the bag is. The leather is soft and feels wonderful. it is beautifully made, and not a heavy bag. My only problem is I don't know how to attach the braided strap. I am serious! Any advice on the braided handle?

Absolutely stunning bag - congratulations !!!
Two questions: does the bag close very easy at the top or does it "fall open" ? I don´t like bags that are "too wide open" at the top. Is the magnetic closure easy to use ?
I contacted Mulberry regarding the rosé looking color on the Instagram picture of Harrods and I got the following message very soon:
"We have been on the phone with Harrods who have confirmed they do not have a rose coloured Iris in stock. The closest colour would be Chalk. Looking at the photos, it seems the Red Iris colour is reflecting onto the bag you are referring to making it look rose. "
That is sad, because I really was hoping for a nude / pink bag color - now I have to decide for another ; - ))) so let´s see if I can view the bags in person in Berlin this weekend ; - )))
The bag is easy to fasten particularly considering I haven't removed the protective covering over it. It is sturdy and I don't think there would be an issue with it popping open. Also, the bag is not wide open unless you pul the side straps (for lack of a better word) all the way out. Even doing that I had to pull the bag open. At this time and never have carried it, I can't believe it would fall open unless it was totally over filled.
The bag that looks rose colored in the Harrods picture interests me because I think it is possibly the color I have. In the US the color rust is generally much darker so I was surprised when it arrived. Frankly, it was a good surprise. There is no doubt my rust bag has a pink hue to it. I could be mistaken but my bag is not the dark color shown in the Mulberry advertisements. I am interested to hear what you find in Germany. Also interested to see what you think of the two sizes. My bag is the same size as the medium Prada Galleria. I am very happy with the Mulberry and the quality is on par with any high end bag.

I think that is the solid grey in very bad lighting
Mulberry is located on the lower ground in Harrods and the lighting is very pinky there

I was especially considering I have had clips on other bags just like it. I am going to order another handle if one is available and perhaps an initial. I won't be using the bag for a while because the weather is still so hot here the dark color is too much. Tomorrow it will be 94 degrees and the humidity factor wiilrrrAttachments

Dear all, sorry for my late reply - we were on holidays !!!
End of August I was in Berlin and was able to see the Mulberry Iris in person .... it is a really beautiful bag, but I also have to say that it was not love for me ; - ((( I expected so much of it and I realized that it is not exactely what I am looking for ..... too bad but better I discovered that before ordering it ....
BTW in the shop next to Mulberry was MCM and they had the Neo Milla in Biscuit leather .... this was a really gorgeous bag and from style what I am searching for .... I will keep an eye on it ; - ))))

Just got mine! The handle was sold out on the Mulberry site but Nordstrom carried that color combo (except taxes killed vs ordering direct). Loving it so far! I’m a sucker for neutrals and this bag delivers!
I saw this today at Heathrow and it is absolutely amazing. It’s light, it looks super practical, the leather is incredible.. I haven’t seen anything this delicious for awhile. Really want it!
